2026-03-01 2157 Google Cheesehack
Today I finished google cheese-hack with my team. We designed FoTex and get the wildcard among about one hundred attenders. I must share my appreciation to Daria, Sherry, and Eric, cause the whole project idea is based on my own requirement and they support me without any hesitation.
For this project, cause we only have 24-hours (sleep include), 99% part of the project is vibe-coded. But we still spent a lot of time of maintain the quality of the work. Though AI provides fast code speed, we have to keep in pace to make sure everything works properly. In that case maybe we can solve 5 bugs a day without AI, and 20 with the help of AI, but the pressure of debug does not decrease at all. As a result, vibe-coding made me feel even tireder than code with myself. But I'm satisfied with our result and position.
The management team spent a hard time during the event. Rating 95 projects in an hour was a disaster. And one group who found directly copy and paste other project get into the top 3 at first, which annoyed everyone. Fortunately, everything settle down after two days with management team's effort.
Though hackathon is over, I will respect my teammates' effort and do my best to maintain FoTex.
