Obsidian

Obsidian is a simple Markdown file editor and manager. As a simple editor, its file orientated design philosophy which similar to Linux is impressive. All settings, writings, database, and plugins are stored as pure text files, which can be easily upload to GitHub repo or backup locally, regardless of platform and network.

The "Everything is File" philosophy is the soul of my current blog workflow as well. I use Syncthing to sync Obsidian files between my desktop, laptop, and phones, which contains all the plugins I need to publish blog. Instead of trying to set up git on my phone or sync some binary files to build blog, Obsidian workflow allows me to edit on any device no matter online or not. And just one click to publish under any circumstance. The strong mobility is the source power of my updating.
